Cancer Survirors Program

Moving Forward with Hope – A Cancer Survivor’s Program

Four Corners Health Department is partnering with Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center and NET Television and Radio to present Moving Forward with Hope – A Cancer Survivor’s program.  The program is a part of the Truth About Cancer outreach initiative.

Cancer survivors, family members, friends, and healthcare professionals are invited to join in a teleconference with Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center specialists on Friday, June 20 from 9 am – 12:30 pm at Four Corners Health Department.  They will discuss topics to help cancer survivors move forward in their survivorship journey and realize the impact of a cancer diagnosis on the many dimensions of one’s life.  Topics include psychological impact, social impact, nutrition, physical wellness, and spirituality.  Lunch and discussion will follow the program from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.

Continuing Education Credits are being offered for nursing, social workers/mental health practitioners, and general education.  Registration runs from 8:30 am – 9 am, with lunch provided, so registration is required.  To register for this free event, call Four Corners Health Department at 402-362-2621 or toll free at 877-337-3573.
